CHARITY
Strengthening communities through giving
At Cable Services, we believe in giving back to the communities in which we operate. We strive to make a tangible contribution at a local level, helping where it matters most. Through our dedicated grassroots approach to fundraising and charitable giving, we proudly support a variety of causes that enrich lives and make a real difference.
Since the launch of the Cable Services Group Charity in 2019, we’ve seen the remarkable generosity and compassion of our employees across our offices in Wrexham, Stone, Liverpool, Glasgow and Swindon. Together, we raised an impressive £86,000 in 2024, which benefited over 30 national and local charities.
Employees across the business are actively involved in our community initiatives. Each year, branch personnel nominate charities that are close to their hearts or resonate with their local communities. We support a wide range of organisations, each with their own unique needs, from national organisations such as the Aortic Dissection Awareness and Marie Curie, to local ones like Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice and Sefton Food Bank.
Our fundraising initiatives are as creative as they are effective. Our dedicated employees organise various events, from dress-down days and raffles to innovative competitions that inspire participation. We also have a 150 Club running each month, all details are below if you wish to join.
“Its is important to us here at Cable Services to support local charities within our local communities of the 5 branches we have across the UK. We all recognise the difficulties we all have had to face since covid 19 and charities have very much been hit especially on income. We are proud to be able to support , not only local charities, but support charities that mean something to our employees. Each year , the company invites employees to nominate a charity that means something to them, whether it be a family member has needed to use a local hospice or they just want to support a local charity around the corner. We stand by our saying, “making a difference” no matter how large or small.“
